Sammie & I went out this morning to a glaze of ICE on everything...the sidewalk, the porch railing, etc. Decided right then & there that I was NOT going to coffee.....Oh horrors!!!
So, I spent the day trying to get some cleaning and laundry done. Dude went to a funeral this morning and came over this afternoon to take down my Christmas tree, etc. Then she finished my ironing. Too bad I didn't have the NEW laundry dry so that could have been done, too.
I had planned to go to mass tonight, but when Dude got home she called me and said, "I don't want to tell you what to do, but I think you should stay home. It's very slick and the wind is really howling". (I think the wind chill is about 12 below according to the TV)
I've got a couple pictures to post. This first one is of Amy, Patti, Dude, & I when we were in Wichita in October for Amy's 31st birthday.

This next one is Rox, Casey, and me at Thanksgiving.

Are you happy, Dude???? There is FINALLY a picture that does not have you in it.
Till next time......
Ewwww thats a gross picture of me. I think you are showing the rest of us bloggers up. I don't think any of us knew that you would be blogging all the time and making us really look bad. At least I won't mind cyberbullying from you since you have a blog now. Dude can't say much yet since she doesn't have one.
ReplyDeleteYou need to get Amy a pink shirt, even if it doesn't say "Sisters"! Okay, I'm using the excuse that the camera (and blog) adds an extra 10 pounds (that means 20)! So much for NOT making any resolutions! I think I better work on that! DRATS!!!
ReplyDeleteHey we need a new picture of my yellow kitchen I didn't realize how blah my kitchen looked until I saw the picture of you Rox and Casey, no wonder Sindee said oh wow oh wow oh wow the yellow realllllly brightenes up our kitchen. Bring your camera when you come for supper tonight and I will get your other ironing done tomorrow
ReplyDeleteI'm very impressed by your blogging skills. I think that in another 80 school days, that Dude won't have an excuse not to blog...except maybe that she's busy doing some ironing.
ReplyDeleteI loved Roberts comment. It really made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteThose shirts say "WHAT HAPPENS WITH THE SISTERS STAYS WITH THE SISTERS". Patti got them at the Kansas State Fair - and we will wear them to the NEXT Burley family reunion. (Bea has one too)
ReplyDeleteSorry I didn't read this before I went for supper, I could have taken a picture of her yellow kitchen and put it on here. I'll have to do that....AND I should take a picture of the carpeted floor before Bill & Justin put in the new wood floor!
