Sunday morning I had given Sammie some canned prescription dog food. Her tummy gets upset periodically, so that usually helps. I guess I had one spoonful in her dish that was a little big. As she was eating, she started choking....and acting like she was going to throw up. She came in the dining room, which is carpeted, so I picked her up under her tummy and took her back to the kitchen. She came back in the dining room and I again took her back. I thought I would have to do a Heimlich on her.....(tee hee) She did finally cough up the chunk of food.
I was telling the Schmits and Kuhlmans about it at lunch at the Hilltop and Sindee said, "how would you do a Heimlich on a dog?" Smarty Leon said, "you drop kick them" and everyone laughed.
That afternoon as I was taking pictures of them taking up the carpet in the kitchen, and when we stopped to have a snack, we were sitting in the living room. Dude started choking on a peanut. When she finally stopped, Leon said "I would hate to have to drop kick ya".
Tonight I had them over for supper, and Sandra started choking....Leon was getting prepared. So....just to warn you...don't choke when Leon is around or you'll maybe be "drop kicked". LOL!!!!
