Easter in Texas

Easter morning I was trying to be as helpful as possible....to make food for the big "Bash". I had made a jello salad the night before...and was getting ready to mix the cream cheese, sugar, & sour cream for the topping. I asked Kim "where is the mixer?" She looked at me with a kind of BLANK look - and said she didn't have one. Oh, my.....NOW what do I do? Rick, sitting at the table said..."Oh, I can mix it up for ya". So here he is. He was even making "mixer sounds" as he beat it. Guess what Kim is getting for her birthday????
This is the table all loaded with the "goodies". Because it had rained - and we weren't sure if there would be more, we set everything up in the riding arena. (Ya, same one that Sindee hit her head on when she was riding the horse) tee hee!

It was kind of chilly, but mid afternoon, the sun came out and actually got a little warm...at least until the sun started to go down.
We were up by the house after the egg hunt and I don't know WHAT Rick was doing with the pistol (I "think" it was fake) but this made a really cute picture.

This was toward the end of the day. I had taken several pictures of Cory and wanted one showing his beautiful teeth (following braces) but he wouldn't co-operate. DANG KIDS!!!!

The day was obviously too much for Rick. After all the kids were gone, he crawled in the bounce house for a nap. He really knows how to throw a party.
I hope Sandra can come with me next year!!!!!
