This is Andrew....all ready for his 1st baseball game of the season - on Monday night. Isn't he just a "cutie"??????

And this is him and his "dad"/coach before they left the house.

Kim & I sat in the truck, quite a ways from the field....because the weather was absolutely HORRID that night. It was chilly and the wind blew about a hundred miles an hour. I thought Nebraska was alone with the crazy wind...but found out that Texas is just as bad.

They DID win their game that night.

On Thursday night...it was MUCH nicer - so we sat in the stands & I took a few pictures. This is Rick....coaching 1st base. He is really enjoying it (I think) and it surprises me...cuz I don't recall him playing baseball when he was little. (maybe he did & I just don't remember)

Here is Andrew...I believe he is playing 3rd base at this point. He normally plays 1st base and did later in the game. They won this one, too.

Andrew LOVES the game of baseball as well as many other sports. He knows stats like you cannot believe. Reminds me of Nick when he was this age. Oh, I guess Nick is still "into" sports and stats.

I was so glad that I could attend 2 of his games.
