We're Heading SOUTH!!!!

At least I "THINK" we are. (kind of having a blizzard right now) I had to cancel my appointment with the chiropractor today. And school was called off at 9:00 a.m.


We're supposed to be heading for Kansas tomorrow & then on to Texas on Thursday. And we've gotten all pretty for the trip. I got a perm last Monday. On Wednesday, Sammie went to Hartington to be groomed.


It ended up being a little more than anticipated. Well, she did need her annual shots, have a heart worm test, buy the Heartgard, Frontline for fleas & ticks, as well as the grooming. Well, the groomer found an abcess on one of her toes, so the vet had to drain it - and we added an antibiotic for that. Her eye IS all better, though - so we're done with eye drops.


On Thursday, I got a pedicure. Yesterday I had Gina wash & set my hair - it stays better when she does it.


So here is a picture of Sammie, all pretty.





She's had to go back to her t-shirt, cuz even though we had a "few" nice warm days, it's now back to winter weather. And besides, now she doesn't have all that long hair to keep her warm. Hopefully by the time we get to Texas, we can be rid of the t-shirt.







I hope to see Cory's jazz band concert at the end of the week - and then they'll be off to Nascar weekend - so will be splitting up my time between Rick's ranch at Whitesboro and the Stoneburner's in Denton. That's why it's great when I drive - even though it IS a long trip. Breaking it up by stopping in Wichita both ways, should help a LOT. (only way I get to see my baby sister, Trisha) I really miss her a bunch.

We'll be celebrating Easter at Rick's annual Egg Hunt Party....which I am "assuming" is going to be held. That is always such a BLAST!!!! He wanted Dude to come with - to be the Easter Bunny, but she didn't think she was up to "hopping" yet.

Well, I HOPE this weather moves on out....and everyone have a Happy Easter!!!!!
