Kitchen project

Okay....this is the ugly, ugly kitchen floor before we began.And this is the butt ugly counter top & sink

OOOOHHHHH! Ugly, Ugly sink

And here is Justin starting to take off those ugly tiles of the backsplash. The counter top wasn't going to fit so well with those tiles - I didn't like them anyway...so Sindee told Bill "why don't you just take them off? It'll be a piece of cake".

So Bill is also putting all his strength into taking them off. (piece of cake, right, Bill????)

So once the tiles were off, the space had to be mudded and re-mudded, then painted. So Sindee even got in on the action. This is after the counter top & sink were removed.

Here, they are setting the counter top on - to be sure it was going to fit and look okay.

Okay....counter top is on, and Justin is holding the sink to put in the hole that they had to cut. Is the sink heavy, "J"?????

Guess they're done with the counter top, sink, & faucet - and my goodness!!!! they are moving on to the flooring. Justin is measuring "just so".

Here they are making "progress" I had a picture that showed the floor and Sindee's legs....doing what she does best.......SUPERVISING!!!! Didn't load that one on here. DARN!

Isn't it absolutely beautiful????? I should have taken a close up picture of the new sink & faucet - but guess you'll just have to come and see it for yourself. (tee hee)

And.....VOILA!!!!! Here is the beautiful floor and my new rugs.

There is a little "finish" work that needs to be done - maybe while I'm in Texas. But I am pretty pleased with it so far. The Schmit boys do GREAT work!!!!!
