SINDEE!!!!!

I've waited a long time to post this. I know Sheila will get a big chuckle out of this.

I wanted to make the pictures bigger.....but then they get all pixelly....so hope you can see it okay. This shows you the "clown" of the family. She's the one in the front...2nd from right. We have always gotten quite a charge out of this picture.

It does look like Randy is being a "character", too. He's the one right next to Great Grandma. And Patti looks "zoned out". She's in the front to the right of Sindee.

Then....at Mom's 70th birthday party...Sindee was "grown up" but STILL the "clown". I know you can guess which one is her. Most everyone in the picture is looking at her and cracking up, too. This was all Mom's grandkids except for my son, Randy. Of course you can't tell what Amy looks like anyway....she's got her head turned and all you can see is her beautiful, long hair.

I really wish you could see these pictures bigger - but it does tell the story of SINDEE! Love ya, girl!!!!!

  1. Funny, hope Sindee thinks so. Wow, we all look a little older (ok, a lot older)! Great memories though.

  3. Am I right in my math that Grandma's birthday party was coming up on 17 years ago?

  6. That is so hard to believe that it will be 17 years since Mom's birthday. Course it is hard to believe that she's been gone almost 13 years. Yikes that means Cory will be 16 this year. Gee Lillie will be 3 in March so it won't be long till she will be turning 16. I'm getting old real quick.

    Great post Dix.

  9. Sindee...I don't know WHAT we would do if we didn't have you to entertain us. You can tell a story like no one can!!!!!

And WTH???? I thought I looked pretty cool, with that red & pink polyester pant suit (that I made myself), my red shoes, and hair piled on top of my head. I thought I was really stylin'.

Wish I could sit on the floor like that these days....tee hee!

    Again....I love you MUCH!!!!

  12. WOW! What a reminder of how quickly time flys. Why do you think I always wanted to play with the "Adults" I knew Sindee was funny I just wasn't old enough. Course does anyone have pictures of her in grandma's wigs when we were cleaning out grandma's house?

  13. Oh, ya...Rhonda. I forgot to mention your bell bottom polyester pants and Roxanne's polyester pants & jacket.....all made by ME!

And, Amy...I'll have to see if I can find those pictures.

  14. Hey! I may have made those pants, I seem to remember sewing that pattern quite a bit. Remember my cheerleading pants were that same pattern (wide legs and all!) only in purple polyester! Whatahoot!

  15. Oh, maybe you did make your pants. And I do remember you had many pairs of them....all polyester. YUCK!!!!!
Can you imagine the cheerleaders today wearing those???? How about it, Casey? Tee hee!

  17. "For Cats Sakes" and "Mr. Johnson"! Although the first picture is a scream (fashion-wise)I think that it's my favorite picture of all of us together. I guess because it includes Grandma, Grandpa and Grandma Colvin. (Sorry Amy,Michael and Robert) Was that Christmas or Thanksgiving? Does anyone remember?

  18. Rhonda, If I remember right I think it was Easter but I'm not positive I will have to ask your Mom if she remembers when it was

  19. No I don't - but I'll bet Bea could tell us.
