Casey's Graduation Party

Well, I guess I've procrastinated on this enough. Casey's graduation party was on May 15th - the night before the actual graduation ceremony. It is so much easier to have the party the night before...than to stress during the ceremony about having all the food ready as soon as they're "graduated". This was done for Nick's 2 years ago...and it worked extremely well. Casey's party was with 2 of her friends...Brittany and Blake. Brittany was born just a few days after Casey and since their parents have been friends forever, the 2 girls were also. Blake is the son of another of Roxanne's friends - he's the guy that took Casey to her first WINTER BALL.


This is Nick - hanging the banner congratulating the 3. He was a big help!



Then Blake got the job of hanging one of the other banners.





These are the little candy bars that I covered with special papers to celebrate her day. I had done them for Nick....so naturally, I had to do them for Casey. Thanks, Dude for your help in getting those done.





Blake had little candy bars also....but they were "smarter" or at least didn't go to as much work. They had special address labels made up and just STUCK them on the candy bars. So, Cory....that may be what you get. LOL!




Here are the 3 guests of honor. They are kind of "color coordinated". Of course that was quite by accident.



And here is their cake. The picture on the cake was taken at Prom this spring. How pretty!!

Then it was time to EAT!!!! Casey went to Silver Creek to make an appearance at Jake's party - and by the time she got to the hall, the other "guests of honor" and parents had already eaten. I just HAD to show Casey and her beautiful nails. And what a pose!!!??!! (actually, that's "normal")

So that party went wonderful - and the family got home about 1 or so and then Casey wanted to open her gifts & cards. She got pretty "goofy" after awhile. Was after 2 when we went to bed. Time to prepare for the BIG DAY!!!!!!
