What we Missed!!!!

Thank goodness that Dude documented what Sammie & I MISSED by going to Texas for Easter.

This is Dude's house. This is my house FROM hers. Looks like some serious piles of snow.
Well, this doesn't look so bad. Guess it BLEW some of the snow south. HUH!!!! Imagine THAT! I put up with that all winter long.
See, I told you....it's all blown to the south of the house, covering the driveway, as was always the case this winter. In the right of the picture, by that shed, the neighbor has quite a pile of logs - and looks like the snow is nearly covering them.
I am glad we were lucky enough to miss this (hopefully) LAST snowstorm.
One bad thing....the Jr/Sr Prom was the Saturday night that this snowstorm hit. Dude didn't even get to go over to the school, just across the street, to see the Grand March. When she asked Leon to take her over....his response was "Are you CRAZY, woman????"
I'm about out of blogging subjects, so don't know when I'll get something more posted. Later........"D"

  1. Good thing you missed out on that. We have gotten lots of rain this week. Sunday night to Monday night we had 6 inches. I heard on the news a little while ago that we have had 10 inches this week and more is still coming. Sunday night we had a down pour when we went out to celebrate Amy's marathon. When I came home I couldn't believe how much water was in that canal between the interstate. There was an area over where Josh and Amy first lived and the streets were closed because of flooding. It must have rained pretty good down by my house today while I was at work. I saw a lot of water standing. The Arkansas river is running pretty full. Course with all the rain everything has really turned green. In fact my back yard is so tall that it is higher than the bricks around the tree in the back yard! Guess I better get mowin.

  2. Yeah you were very lucky to have been in Texas Dixie, and we were very lucky too because we just let the sun melt the snow instead of scooping all that lovely white shit. But really glad you are home.
